I'm sure this could be simplified even more for a very easy 1 page starter guide with slightly smaller images, but I thought I'd share anyway.
Again, this is just a quick start "get'er dun" guide for those that are intimidated by Mr Robot. it doesn't cover advanced use. Enjoy!

2: Enter your Server and your character's name then click "Load".
3: Once your character is loaded you'll see it below. Click the character you want to optimize.

5: Make sure you're in the right Spec. (If you are not in the right spec and gear, log out of WoW while in the correct spec and gear, and repeat the above steps.)
6: In the center column you'll see a Score across the top of the screen and items in Orange (Gems, Enchants, Reforges), This is your character as seen in the Armory. Items in Orange is what you currently have and what Ask Mr Robot suggests you can change/improve.
7: Click "Optimize!"

- Even if I fix all my gems from the lesser expensive ones to the epic ones and change my 1 suggested enchant, my overall score improvement (Optimized score from below minus Armory score from above) is less than half a percent, 0.45%. I can assume I'm pretty safe in not spending a load of money on regems and one enchant. This is a personal call and you can even set filters for these too (See Advanced section).

- The Item bracketed in Yellow is what you currently have. Anything above this is an upgrade based on your currently equipped items.
- If you check "Absolute" this will give you the list of Best In Slot item based on your class/spec stat priorities but does not consider your current stats, if you are over or under hit/expertise/haste caps for example. Use the Absolute check box with caution!

There are two places you can adjust more advanced choices.
- Choosing a Gear Strategy and
- Set Options and Filters

Set Options and Filters:
Did you just ding max level? Are you trying to prep for raiding? Are you already decked out in the latest and greatest?
Maybe you don't have the cash or materials for epic enchants...
Maybe you don't like to run fast because you have alternatives and would prefer pure stat enchants.
Maybe you aren't quite in the latest tier gear yet so using epic gems too soon is a little silly.
This is the place you want to set these filters and options.

Choosing a Gear Strategy
The Green Arrows (Not the DC character) point to several pre-select options with all the details built in to those options. Ask Mr. Robot seems to know which one you currently are, but if you want something different you can select that here.
The Red Arrows indicate what you'll see if you click on the Customize button. Here you can hard code your specific stat weights and exact numbers you wish to reach. Ask Mr. Robot will then take these new numbers into account to come up with your new gearing strategy.
