in terms of old world content and mount runs openraid.us is great. People are constantly running old content (often for mount runs) and it's easy to find and join in. I haven't used it as much since MOP dropped, but was using it heavily at the end of Cata
Yeah, OpenRaid is great when it comes to this stuff. They have opened up their site to be even more amazing. You can now use the chat room at the times your online to actually find pug groups for LFR too. Once things settle down with everything im trying to do right now, I may have time to think!

Excellent idea! I'm also working my hunter up to cap. 88 right now, so I am all in for old world, and LFR when I hit the requirements. My battletag is kmbagpipes#1696.
I'm definitely going to keep an eye on this tread and see what happens. I'm very interested in something like this. I don't have a real raid team at the moment so i have quite a bit of free time when I'm able to log in. Horde Monk healer-y type. =)
Openraid took off at the end of Cata due to sheer end-of-expac doldrums. With the immense release of MoP content, it has died down to an extent - but you will find no shortage of old raid mount runs.

I've been talking with my guild about heroic Cata content for sure. Mainly because we have people who want to finish Legendaries. Fridays no longer work for me at the time being because I am going to start recording a Podcast called Epic Questions on that day. But, I may use OpenRaid.us for signups so I will keep everyone posted about this idea and if I start something. I have a bunch of people on BattleTag who would be interested if we can figure out a good day.
