What's up with Wrathion

I'm interested in people's thoughts on Wrathion. I'm not sure his only purpose is to sit there and give us an epic gem. As the son of Deathwing, raised by red dragons, i think he will have a bigger role.

While he talks about uniting the factions, he actually seems to be intent on increasing the conflict (we are getting rep by killing the opposing faction). I'm not sure Blizzard isn't setting him up as a future villain.

Thoughts?

I agree, he has a bigger role. I don't know what it is about him, perhaps his persona, but I think he has bigger plans he isn't alluding to.

Food for thought, Wrathion is equipping us characters with Sha infused "weaponry." Garrosh Hellscream is currently doing the same thing but it is much more extreme.

On a side note, I hope this chain culminates with a legendary set bonus(Es). I for one would like to transform into an uber sha every now and then.
