Guild Mission Statement
The Convert to Raid guild has been created and designed to offer a unique and vibrant atmosphere for all players in Azeroth who share the love for one of World of Warcraft’s most prominent aspects; and to embrace this with other like-minded individuals. We want players from all levels of the spectrum to feel right where they belong - with friends in a wonderful community. Welcome home raiders.
Guild Charter
The Convert to Raid guild is a community guild that was created by the founders of the Convert to Raid podcast on the Aerie Peak server solely for the purpose to offer a haven and a home for raiders - where friends and guild members can come together and enjoy the game they love. While our main focus is bonding with the guild through raiding and the friendships you will make here, we also welcome PvP or Roleplaying. We believe that players of World of Warcraft should be given the opportunity to experience multiple aspects of the game - and that a lack of experience or knowledge does not necessarily imply a lack of aptitude, and should not be frowned upon. We house players from all walks of life, creeds, skill levels and personalities. We expect you to treat fellow guild members and the World of Warcraft community with respect and kindness. Your actions reflect on the guild just as much as they are reflect on you.
The guild policy will be published on the Policies and Rules page. Claiming to be unaware of these policies will not be excused. Every member is expected to be familiar with the guild policies and abide by them. If you are having problems with another member who is violating these policies and you don’t think you can resolve the issue on your own, let an officer know or send e-mail to the officers at ctrofficers@gmail.com.
Applying for Admission
Membership is available to all players who share the same goals and ideas as we do. All prospective guild members must be Alliance, able to join our guild on the Aerie Peak server and have leveled their characters to the required minimum level and completed an application before any further action is taken.
New applications are welcome at any time. Once your application is accepted, you must join the CTRLFO in-game channel and ask for an officer. Invitations for additional characters once you have a character in the Convert to Raid guild are welcome, there is currently no limit on how many characters you can have in the guild. You do not have to complete an application for each additional character.
We do restrict guild invitations for new members and alts to (server times, PST):
Member Conduct
Community, Teamwork and Respect. The Convert to Raid guild is an all-ages, family-friendly guild. Members are expected to keep their conversations in the forums, guild chat, and in Mumble lounge/public channels and guild event groups (both official and unofficial groups) suitable for children. We will not tolerate any discrimination based upon race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, age, veteran status, ancestry, national or ethnic origin. While a healthy rivalry between in-game factions and races is acceptable, we require civil and courteous behavior towards the real people behind the keyboards, this extends to public Looking for Dungeons, Looking for Raids and interactions with the greater World of Warcraft community.
Members should refrain from discussing politics, religion, illegal activities, sexual orientation, or explicit sexual acts in the guild forums, guild chat, and in Mumble lounge/public channels and within guild event groups. These topics tend to be inflammatory due to the large and diverse makeup of the guild.
If an officer investigates a situation involving a Convert to Raid member who is not following the guild credo and policies repercussions are up to officer interpretation but in extreme cases may include expulsion from the guild (of all characters). If guild members wish to appeal any officer decisions please feel free to contact ctrofficers@gmail.com.

How do I get in?
Your doing it! In the next step you will complete an application. Your character must be level 15 (60 for DKs). We do this in part to ensure an active healthy guild community, and it's our way to encourage guildies to have fun together!
Did you get my application?
All queries about your application can be handled in game. When on Aerie Peak (Alliance), /join CTRLFO -- our looking for officers channel -- and ask your questions to an officer. Be sure to check out our invite times in the guild policies and rules found in Step 2. You can also reference the Guild Policies & Rules on the forums at viewtopic.php?f=58&t;=1671. If an officer isn't present and you can't make those times, please email ctrofficers@gmail.com.
What about my alts?
All alts are welcome, and there is no need to fill out a new application. We ask that all alts adhere to the minimum level requirements, naming policies and any other guild guidelines, as described in the Guild Policies and Rules found in Step 2. You can also reference the Guild Policies & Rules on the forums at viewtopic.php?f=58&t;=1671.
Is there still room?
Yep. We currently have a number of co-guilds, each of which has at least some space (some more than others). These co-guilds, along with any future co-guilds, are 100% equal with each other and in no way will be looked at by the officers with any sort of ranking. Officers will maintain characters within all co-guilds, and we encourage all players to work together with a single guild mentality. We are merely working within the confines set by Blizzard, and will never favor one co-guild over the other.
You will need an addon called Greenwall, which can be found on Curse by just clicking this link. Just download it and activate... nothing else! Configuration has been done for you already, and this addon will just run in the background to allow both guilds to see guild chat as a single community.
To maintain as active a membership as possible we do some house cleaning regularly. During this period we will remove all characters who are inactive. There is more information on this in our guild policies and rules found on Step 2 or in our forums at viewtopic.php?f=58&t;=1671.
Did you expect such a HUGE initial launch?
We had no idea what to expect, and our first week blew us away! Thanks to all those that have come over and have been so active!
What's going on with Mumble?
We currently have a 300 person mumble server, ready for you and your team!
How do I find a raid team?
With the thousands of characters that have joined our ranks, the guild does not (nor could it) officially manage or create raid teams. But you're in the right place! Start by setting up your profile at guild.converttoraid.com/profile. This will be your gateway to creating/managing teams and setting up your free agents. You can also view all our active teams at guild.converttoraid.com/teams. Of course, the forums are still available. There are raid teams forming on the Team Pages: viewforum.php?f=57 and there's a place to sign up if you're a free agent: viewforum.php?f=59
Want to start a team or join a team? Start your online search at the links above, or hop in game and start a conversation in guild chat or /join CTRLFG (Convert to Raid Looking for Group channel).
Do I get to raid with the guys from the show?
Sure. While we're a part of our own raid team, we're doing LFR's on a regular basis and running old content as we can. Check your in game calendars and these forums for special events.
When will we see the CtR Guild on EU servers or Horde side?
There are no plans currently to spread out our guild at all because we want everyone to play together. Unfortunately, Blizzard has set up divisions in game that don't allow this, so we had to make some tough choices. But as a guild, we would rather stay on a single server and in a single faction so that we can share a common experience, and share it together with friends. Unity is power! (Was that too over the top?)
What's the best way to give constructive feedback?
You're in the right place! Just start your own thread in this area: viewforum.php?f=65, or you can always email us at ctrofficers@gmail.com.
